Cavelle’s career and education have taken her to many parts of Canada from the East to the West, including Northeastern Alberta, as a young teacher, Quebec City, Toronto, Victoria and Nova Scotia. Most of her working life has been spent in Ottawa and Cornwall where she has led or collaborated in the broad scope of activities that fall within human resources. Before joining the Agency, Cavelle led a national team of human-resources professionals at Canadian Blood Services. Fluently bilingual, she holds degrees and certificates in French, Translation, Management, Education and, at the post-graduate level, Change Management, in addition to the designation of Canadian Human Resources Leader.
