The Agency’s Technical Services group has developed a Project Management Guide that will help your co-op understand the role of project management for major capital upgrades and replacements. This guide outlines what project management is, how to hire a project manager, what the project manager does and how your co-op should handle a large-scale project.

Management Type

Today the trend in co-op management is toward management companies. Employee staffing is down by five percentage points since 2014. In 2017, volunteer-only co-ops make up half the share of our clients (4%) that they did in 2007.
